Monaco Yacht Show 2018 Sets The Scene For A New Quality In Yacht Design
The first words that come to mind when you take a look at M/Y Illusion Plus? Design as a Journey of Discovery. The innovative approach to yachting by presenting luxury in simplicity of line and form sets a new direction in yacht interior design.
Illusion Plus is the latest project of Pride Mega Yachts. A Netherlands based firm - Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design - was responsible for creating the exquisite, travel-inspired interiors. The use of spacious layouts, custom furniture and luxurious accessories are the hallmarks of their aesthetics.
The combination of contemporary furniture of straight and elegant lines with traditional materials of glass, exclusive metal, natural stone and fine wood creates an atmosphere that emanates modernity and a unique Asian taste. The palette used is light and earthy - it strengthens the feeling of closeness to nature and helps to create a serene and accommodating atmosphere that suits the taste of modern owners who prefer spending their time in private luxury. The interior is defined by long sight lines, huge windows and open areas to let light spill in. The use of natural light bouncing off polished metal, shiny glass and veneered wood surfaces is underscored by subtle shades, tones and hidden artificial lighting.
This rich choice of materials accentuates the feel of luxury. Fine and rare wood is integrated with metals, leather and natural stone using unrivalled artisanship to create contemporary and elegant atmosphere in both the interior and the exterior area. All the fixtures and accessories are supplied by the world’s finest manufacturers and in many cases they are custom-made exclusively for this project.
Illusion Plus merges Asian tradition with a modern look providing wide-open decks and tranquil social spaces. These interiors are designed in harmony with nature and will provide the Owner and his guests with exceptional lifestyle experience.
M/Y Illusion Plus will be presented at Monaco Yacht Show 2018.
